Attention: If there is heavy traffic, you must expect longer waiting times for the cable car from the valley to the mountain. Maximum capacity of the cable car is approx. 8 people
Great cable car that takes you up and down again for 21 CHF per person. From there you can go on countless hikes or, for example, do the “Fruttstäga” via ferrata. Some peaks, around 2500 meters, as well as the Lidernenhütte, if you want to stay overnight, can also be reached on day trips from the mountain station.
The train runs every 30 minutes, or more often if there are enough people. So far we've only had to wait a few minutes and it's been very uncomplicated. The train also feels safe. You pay at the intermediate station, where you can change if you want to go all the way up.
